im workin with the 1st years on 'self portraits' It can be anything that helps define you.
i think my watch is very important, because there really isnt a day when its not around my wrist. plus i havent seen anyone else with it. so it makes it unique to me.
the drawing on the other hand ( ha ...no pun intended.)... its not my best work.
but im learning to finish drawings no matter their quality.

I can relate on working to finish drawings, even if you're not happy with the beginning. Sometimes the final results can amaze you...other times they are predictably disapointing...but nevertheless, each finished drawing is an accomplishment.
