inspired by a great blog i look at all the time. ( simplyphoto) i find art in everything. this was what i made for dinner. the colors and textures to me make it a composition.
if not for art i would have gone to culinary school.

a painting i did for a friend. she loves mountains.
the horizon line is actually straight. my camera lens warps it a bit.
im really happy with the way it turned out.
some of the ads i came up with for the yellow objects i chose.
not to good with adobe, but im happy with how they turned out...
i drew my lunch again. what may look like a cheeseburger is actually a ham&cheese on an english muffin. chips and salsa as a side.
im finding that you can sketch all the time, but adding color really brings them to life.
im starting to hate all my colorless sketches.
on a side note...tortilla chips are very hard to draw. they look like banana chips.
some of the items i picked up from a much needed run to target. and maybe a cup of joe from
a stop at starbucks.
and again, some strong influences from suzanne's rendering style.
i rarely eat breakfast. due to the fact that i would rather sleep than eat. yet this morning i made an awesome chocolate, banana , peanut butter english muffin thing. figured it was worth the sketch.

i really like my desk. i spend a lot of time at it.
i think we are all very busy right now... here is suzannes -on-the-go-eat-while-teaching- lunch. i felt i would do the sketch in her style. i find a lot of inspiration in her quick rendering techniques.
Long delay, and one month without a scanner. But I am now back to posting. Here is my desk at home. I spend a lot of time here.

i found this old marker drawing i had done of a bulletin board.
i really like it and figured i should scan it in before it falls apart.
it reminds me of all the stuff i have to do before break...
im thinkin this is going to be on the Robison Holiday Christmas Card...

i really like sketching weird bags in class.
i think because they always turn out good.
i love watching T.V. and being able to pick out the furniture in the shows, knowing that there is no way they could afford it. the average person wouldnt understand, much less notice a 5,000 dollar chair sitting in a living room of a middle class televison show family.

yep its that time. the holiday season. yeah, it may only be mid- november but it is cold and im wippin out the christmas list and slippers.

there must be a bug going around. cause im number 4, 325,858,939 to get it.
but its surprising what you can get done when stuck inside feeling like crap.
this is a merely a post for group access.
ive been doing small watercolors on index cards.
im thinking of doing 25 or so different pieces and putting them all together.
we will see...
im workin with the 1st years on 'self portraits' It can be anything that helps define you.
i think my watch is very important, because there really isnt a day when its not around my wrist. plus i havent seen anyone else with it. so it makes it unique to me.
the drawing on the other hand ( ha ...no pun intended.)... its not my best work.
but im learning to finish drawings no matter their quality.
